Sometimes, Kamui just didn't feel like school -didn't see the point of going at all. After all, he was beyond the age of required schooling, and with everything else going on, sometimes it was just like... really? Really? The world was ending, he was failing in his duties, and instead of focusing purely on that, he was stuck in homeroom, musing on how he'd "conveniently forgotten" his math homework. Sometimes that just seemed a little stupid and pointless.

Sure, yeah, he got the whole "social interaction" thing (which -Keiichi aside- he more or less avoided regardless), and he even fully understood that he needed some sense of normality. But... still...

He sighed and pressed his forehead to his desk as the teacher entered the classroom, wondering how much trouble he would get into if he just slept away his classes for the day. The urge was quite tempting. Maybe he could even get off the hook by blaming it on his still-healing wounds and the residual effects of pain killers. Maybe?

Suddenly, however, all thoughts of sleep flew away as he snapped to attention, only vaguely hearing the teacher say something about a new transfer student. The oddness of it was what caught his classmates' interests -since the last kekkai fell, people had been transferring out of Tokyo and not in- but what caught Kamui's was the strange power he could feel in the boy. Sure, CLAMP School was no stranger to people with powers, but... this felt unique. Interesting.

Quiet, Kamui tilted his head slightly and watched the new student, eying him with poorly hidden curiosity.

Canon point: Since I'm mostly throwing Kamui into memes, I choose whatever point seems the most fun for that meme. In general, he's somewhere between X11 and X18.5.

Height: 5'3"

Body type: Slender, lithe.

Sexual Orientation: In general, he will be played as a Kinsey 5 of 6, buuut... Kamui is a bit hard to pin down. He gets along with girls well enough and may love them, but that love tends to be portrayed as totally fluffy and innocent. His relationships with men are a bit different, as he is definitely more physically and emotionally comfortable with them (his crush on Subaru, anyone?). Honestly, chances are he is normally too busy with ~~angst~~ other things to really think too much about sex or orientation.

Top/Bottom?: If sex somehow does happen, uh... mostly bottom. Due to all the shit he has to put up with, he probably would looove to have someone else make the decisions.

+ Personality

Loyal: Once he decides he likes you, Kamui is loyal to a fault. He is always willing to do anything and everything to help and protect his friends. The only problem is that this leads to him becoming almost obsessive with some people -to the point that he thinks about them constantly and is willing to withstand abandonment and/or abuse if he thinks he can still help them.

Kind: While Kamui is mostly focused within his own small group of friends, he's a generally nice kid. He doesn't really wish harm on anyone, and will try to help if he can. He'll be nice to a stranger if they're nice to him, even though getting a good conversation out of him may not happen (shy and all) without a lot of effort. Kamui also loves animals and sometimes can be caught talking to them; birds in particular.

Awkward: Kamui didn’t have the opportunity to be properly socialized as a child, so he lacks a lot of the more common social graces. He’s easily overwhelmed by social people, and sometimes accidentally ends up agreeing to things just because he doesn’t know how to back out. He also has a tendency to be blunt, and may come off as rude without really meaning to. All in all, he’s pretty clueless at dealing with people. He’s still learning!

Naïve: Unless he has reason to be cautious, Kamui is not very good at figuring out when someone is bullshitting him. He will fall for almost anything: be it Fuuma pretending to be kind, or Sorata telling him a rather tall tale. Luckily, he’s usually smart enough to only fall for it once. Usually.

Temperamental: DON’T make kitten angry. Shit will blow up.

Impulsive: Thinking through his actions is something Kamui needs to work on, especially at times when he’s very emotional. He has a tendency to rush headfirst into things, especially if it involves his friends, and then get his ass beat for it. Likewise, the kid may also lose control of his powers –completely devastating the area around him accidentally- for the same reasons.

Stubborn: Kamui spends ten volumes getting owned by Fuuma in various kinky ways because he refuses to believe –no matter how many people tell him otherwise- that his wish could be anything but saving the “real” Fuuma. If that’s not stubborn, I don’t know what is.

Contradictory: Deep inside, Kamui is full of contradictions. He’s trusting but also distrusting. He wants people close, but is afraid of them getting close. He seems selfless, but is secretly extremely selfish. He wishes something, but his real wish is opposite of it. Poor Fuuma. No wonder he feels the need to skewer the kid so often.

+ Powers

Kamui, despite his small size and quiet personality, is actually extremely powerful. He has been gifted with the power to either save or destroy humanity, after all. His main form of power seems to revolve around the ability to tap into and manipulate energy: he can fight with balls or razor-sharp wisps of pure energy, he can blow up shit/break shit with it, and he can move stuff with it. He can also see spiritual phenomenon that your typical human has no clue about, and has the ability to feel out those on his team when they are in battle.

+ Random

Kamui likes animals, vanilla ice cream, flowers, and Fuuma when he is not crazy. He also spends a disturbing amount of time in his school uniform, and has been described as good wife material. Deeefinitely a bit on the girly side.

Oh, and he was raised with the knowledge of his future and different spiritual phenomena, so supernatural individuals and/or powers don't really bother him at all.
